The Alabama-Tennessee game is traditionally played each season on the third Saturday of October.  In 1962, the fierce showdown between these two heated rivals featured Joe Namath Namath (#12) is shown throwing a 35-yard TD pass to Benny Nelson.  On that third Saturday in October the Tide rolled over the Vols in Knoxville with a score of 27-7.
