Third Saturday in October is the third print in Daniel A. Moore's Legendary Players Series. This print differs from its companion print with the inclusion of the photo border containing images of Joe Namath's career and association with the U. of A. The central panel of this print utilizes the same painting as Third Saturday Classic. Joe Namath is shown as he drops back to hit Benny Nelson (#28) for a 35-yard TD in the second quarter of the 1962 Alabama-Tennessee game. In this exciting 27-7 win in Knoxville, Namath passed for two TD's and ran one in himself.
