No single image represents Coach Bryant's defensive philosophy better than this historic play against Penn State in the 1979 Sugar Bowl. With a fourth-and-goal inside Bama's one yard line, the Lions' Mike Guman is stopped by linebacker Barry Krauss and the swarming Tide defense. The effort preserved a 14-7 victory for Alabama and clinched its tenth national title, the fifth under Coach Bryant. This is Daniel Moore's first Alabama football painting.
